LUIGI OTTANI, photographer and journalist, was born in 1965 and lives in Formigine (Modena). He works as a newspaper, advertising and reportage photographer. His photographs have been published in the most important Italian newspapers and magazines and in the most outstanding international photography reviews. He is the author of numerous exhibitions and publications and works for "Avvenire", "Gazzetta di Modena" and "L'Espresso".
The images of aniMOweb guidelines are taken from the following reportage:
Eritrea -> refugee camps in the Sahel desert (2001)
Bosnia -> Sarajevo-Glamoc exhibition (2000-2001-2002)
Saharawi -> A week in the tents of the refugees, who have been living in the Algerian desert for 30 years (2002)
Palestine -> Reportage from Jerusalem and from some Palestinian villages (Jenin, Ramallah, Abu-Dis, Gerico, Ain Arik, Betlemme)(2004); Peace Marathon from Jerusalem to Bethlehem (2004 and 2005 editions)
Cambodia -> reportage from the areas ravaged by Pol Pot and Khmer Rouge , in the streets of juvenile exploitation and prostitution
Italy -> Peace demonstration in Rome and Modena
