14/07/2003: Interview with Joshua Held Waiting for the close deadline of the 31st of July and for the publishing in the following days of the works submitted for the contest, the editorial staff of aniMOweb has interviewed Joshua Held, member of the jury 2003. 14/06/2003: The events during aniMOweb official prize awarding ceremony The current edition of aniMOweb contest is ending with the customary prize awarding ceremony. In order to enliven the occasion, further events have been organized: the exhibition Their Circular Life, the handing over of the FlashToons Awards, the public performance of the documentary film Dream Machine TV, the workshop FlashAnimathon, the authors' contributions and the homage to the jury members.

27/05/2003: the members of the jury The last phase of the jury members' designation has been completed.
They have been chosen according to the following criteria and requirements:
1) to create a balance of competences referred to all the three sections of the contest
2) to warrant non - Italian authors
3) to appoint at least one of the winners of the previous edition of the contest
4) to create a balance also between the number of female and male members.

2/04/2003: the second edition of AniMOweb opens and the theme is environment. The press conference inaugurating 2003 edition of AniMOweb contest is scheduled for 9/04/2003 in Modena Province Palace at 11.30. Modena Province President Graziano Pattuzzi and the Councillor for Environment and Sustainable Development Ferruccio Giovanelli will illustrate the main features of the contest.

4/3/2003: Environment and pollution as 2003 Animoweb Contest subject The organizers of Animoweb Contest have decided the theme for web artists of year 2003 edition: environment and, in particular, pollution. The preoccupation that social and economical development does not hinder the conservation of the planet, of the environment and of its inhabitants should be a priority among the decisions taken by local and national authorities on a global, as well as on a local level.

6/2/2003: A report of AniMoweb 2002 edition on a Cd-rom with the magazine Computer Graphics & Publishing In the cd-rom enclosed with the November - December issue of Computer Graphics & Publishing - published by IHT Gruppo Editoriale a long report about the 2002 edition of AniMoweb was included. About half of the submitted films and the biographies of all authors are introduced in the presentation.

10/9/2002: Prize awarding ceremony of aniMOweb contest. The report, the videos, the photos. The prize awarding ceremony took place in Sestola (Belvedere Cinema) on the night of 6/9/02, as had been announced. Carlo Massarini, the famous anchorman of Mediamente, brilliantly presented the event with the contribution of local administrators, numerous authors and some of the winners.

10/09/2002. The decision of the jury: a summary and the results. On 6/09/02 AniMOweb contest jury, presided by Carlo Massarini, started their works, at 2 p.m. in Modena Province Palace. The "plenary sitting" lasted until 6 p.m. in order to assign the 6 prizes for a total amount of € 5000.

10/09/02: Audience prizes awarded: Clemens Conrad and Giuliano Parodi. The audience prizes were assigned with the vote of 450 AniMoweb site visitors. The winning intro opening the site about the Modenese Apennines is by the Berliner Clemens Conrad (€ 100 with 228 scores). As for highly interactive applications and games, the winner is Giuliano Parodi from Piombino (Livorno, Italy).
