Thursday, 9th March the movies of aniMOweb were shown to the students of the Modenese schools. Friday, 10th March, and Saturday, 11th March, were the concluding days of the 4th edition of the festival: the meetings and the seminars of the contestants and special guests of the jury took place at Aula Magna Istituto Fermi and San Carlo Theatre.

11th December 2004: The official prize awarding of 30 October at Teatro San Carlo. A report, the videos, the photographs.
In the impressive setting of Teatro San Carlo in Modena, on Saturday, 30 October at 9 p.m. Michela Miraglia was introducing the Official Prize Awarding of aniMOweb 2004 in front of the authorities of Modena Province and a large audience. The prize awarding ceremony was being broadcast in real time at Caffè Concerto in Piazza Grande, Modena.

aniMOweb 2004 movies are published in the CD-ROM enclosed in the November-December issue of the magazine Computer Graphics & Publishing by IHT Gruppo Editoriale. 8th November 2004: The audience prize to Hermes Mangialardo, Gaia Soavi and Nicola Brusco.
The audience prizes have been assigned by more than 1.000 visitors of the aniMOweb site. In the intro section on the theme "women and work" the highest score was obtained by Hermes Mangialardo from Copertino (Lecce, Italy) with "Mary's Day". In the section of games the majority of visitors preferred Gaia Soavi from Piacenza, Italy, with the game "Women and Equal Opportunities". In section C of short films the winner is Nicola Brusco with "Summer".

Animoweb editorial staff is busy organising the events of the concluding week of aniMOweb 2004. The schedule from 25th to 30th October has already been decided and everybody is ready to welcome the guests in Modena. Here are the appointments: FlashAnimathon begins on 25th October, animation films are being proposed on 28th and 29th , the jury is meeting on 29th, while the prize awarding with Michela Miraglia is taking place on 30th. 22nd September 2004: The-Tab prize and interview with Digital Video. Increased budget of official prizes.
As the audience vote is going on, we take pleasure in announcing important news about the aniMOweb 2004 prizes. The FlashGoddess and Shortvillage prizes will be flanked with the Digital Video prize, consisting in copies of The-Tab software to the best female participant and to the FlashAnimathon winners. The budget of official prizes has also been increased by 1.000 euros, thus adding two further prizes for section C of short animated films.

While aniMOweb 2003 on environmental themes is still being promoted, the editorial staff is busy organising the next edition of the contest. The Council for Equal Opportunities between men and women will be the principal promoting partner of Modena Province Presidency Department. On 24th October 2003 the jury of aniMOweb contest presided by Marcella Albiero and composed of Han Hoogerbrugge, Joshua Held, Stefano Campioli and Giovanni Rompianesi met at 2 p.m. in Sala Giunta at Modena Province. The meeting lasted until 8 p.m. and the prizes for a total amount of € 8.150 (€ 7.800 for the main prizes + 350 € for special prizes) were assigned.

The audience prize has been assigned by more than 500 visitors of the site aniMOweb. We present the video "Modena terra d'autore". It can be useful for the participants in Animoweb contest to get to know the territory of Modena province better. To see the videoclip you need to have Real Player version 8 basic previously installed. The movie, that lasts about 26 minutes, has been produced by the Province of Modena, the Munipality of Modena and by the Chamber of Commerce of Modena.
