27/8/2002: 6/9/2002 Prize awarding ceremony in Sestola at 9 p.m. Carlo Massarini as presenter.
The date 6/9/2002 is official: the decisive jury meeting for the prize assigning of the 1st edition of AniMOweb contest is taking place in Modena Province palace in the early afternoon.
Everybody is then meeting in Sestola in the evening for the prize awarding ceremony.
Carlo Massarini, the famous anchorman of RAI Educational "Mediamente", after presiding the jury in the afternoon, is presenting the ceremony at 9 p.m. at Cinema Belvedere in Sestola (Modena).
The movies of the 8 winners (for a total of € 5200) will be performed during the ceremony. Alessandro Daprà - Macromedia, Marcella Albiero - Melazeta, Graziano Pattuzzi - Modena Province President and Franco Cerfogli - Sestola Mayor will be contributors.
After the prize awarding all the other movies taking part in the contest as well as other animation films will be performed and the entry will be free for everybody.
Authors that have submitted their works for the contest and that would like to take part in the ceremony are invited to the following appointments:
- 17.30 p.m. guided tour in the surroundings of Sestola
- 19.30 p.m. refreshments at Hotel San Marco next to Cinema Belvedere.
- The book "I colori del tempo" ("The Colours of Time" about tourism in Modena province) will be offered as a gift to everybody
- special prizes for accommodation in hotels and for restaurants will be granted for those who will spend the night in Sestola.
Further information on the program will be included in the future news and newsletters as soon as available.
The previously announced nominations of a limited number of participants are canceled, unless different decisions are taken by the organizers.
